Our first digital theatre / film is now credited on IMDB HERE. We look forward to further distribution opportunities.
A Digital Day in Wonderland
As 2022 was spent ‘recovering’ we were delighted to begin distribution of our ‘fruit of lockdown’ show One Day in Wonderland in it’s digital theatre version, a medium we would never have considered before the extraordinary days of lockdown and covid measures. The live performance of One Day in Wonderland was given under government covid conditions (including social distancing) in a temporary pop up theatre space when theatres were allowed to reopen. We then turned over a studio version of this in February 2022, which was available for download through 2022 at Brighton, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Sydney festivals. We know it was enjoyed by families there and you can see our wonderful reviews HERE Watch this space for further distribution.
One Day in Wonderland Digital Theatre
Lights of London Productions in association with our Golden Pavement Films is delighted to announce that the digital studio version of our hit family show (originally produced under covid conditions at the Pelican House Pop Up Theatre, in June 21, is now released and will be distributed by C Arts for video on demand as part of their digitial programmes at UK and International festivals in 2022, including Brighton, Edinburgh, Sydney and Melbourne.
What’s Next?
Lights of London hope to move into digital theatre and film-making via our new digital company Golden Pavement Productions: Pictures and Sounds.
In 2021 a digital version was made of One Day in Wonderland, and accepted to show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Online, but due to technical difficulties it was not released. It is planned to re-make this for inclusion in the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival Online as a piece of Digital Theatre.
A screenplay for an indie feature film is currently underway for submission and or production 2022 and 2023.

Producing in Pandemic or Theatre in the time of Corona
Lights of London is delighted at the lifting of government restrictions particularly in theatre and for the return of live entertainment and performance. We are also proud that that during the summer break when lockdown was lifted in 2020 we performed The Tempest (A Socially Distanced Brave New World) in Finsbury Circus City Gardens and built a temporary pop-up theatre at Pelican House in Bethnal Green for the opening of outside events in May 2021 to perform One Day in Wonderland under covid legislation and restrictions.
